The eAuthorize 5.0 plug-in extends the functionality of FileMaker Pro by providing a method to process credit card transactions and electronic checks directly from your FileMaker Solution. eAuthorize 5.0 connects to your online payment gateway to process your payments instantly and securely.

Direct integration of your payment processing provides a significant advantage when designing a FileMaker Pro solution that must handle payments, sales, inventory, order fulfillment, etc. With eAuthorize 5.0 you can pass the customer’s payment information to the payment gateway and receive an immediate authorization response. This response will indicate if the transaction was accepted or declined.

As a result, a FileMaker Pro solution with the eAuthorize 5.0 plug-in can be designed to act according to the responses from the real-time transactions. With the push of a button, an order can automatically go into processing the moment after payment is taken.

  Authorize and capture funds in one simple transaction or perform an authorization first and capture the funds later as separate transactions.
• Use Card Code Verification
  Sending additional data, such as a card code, to the gateway helps to reduce fraud. eAuthorize 5.0 supports the use of card code verification.
• Void Transactions
  You can void transactions with eAuthorize 5.0 if the original transaction has not yet settled. If settlement has passed, the plug-in can issue a credit.
• Proxy Server Support
  With the VeriSign gateway, the eAuthorize 5.0 plug-in supports the use of a proxy server. This allows it to function from an internal network where external network connections are controlled.
